It is advisable to place a non-slip net under the carpet, especially a thin carpet. The net's function is to prevent slipping and protect against abrasion.

Once every six months, the carpet should be turned over for a day or two to remove dust. Do not hit the carpet, do not shake it, and do not pull on the edges of the carpet (fringes).

The direction of the carpet should be changed from time to time to give it a uniform appearance. Changing the direction causes the carpet to age evenly.

You can spread the carpet out in the sun for a few hours to dry out any moisture that has accumulated in it, thus preventing mold caused by moisture.

It is a good idea to send the carpet to a specialist for cleaning once or twice a year.

If the carpet gets wet, immediately remove the water with a spoon (in the direction of the carpet fibers) and dry it with a dry cloth.

When a liquid spills on a carpet and stains it, the stain should be removed as quickly as possible. Oily stains and coffee stains can be cleaned with carpet shampoo or a damp cloth. A red wine stain can be cleaned with white wine.

If a defect is discovered in the carpet (a hole, frayed edges, etc.), the carpet must be sent for repair to prevent the damage from spreading.

When storing a carpet for an extended period, roll the carpet on its surface, sprinkle it with mothproof powder, and wrap it in newspapers to prevent moisture. Do not put the carpet in a plastic bag because it creates moisture.
